C97 Lead Nickel Copper Alloy has high tensile strength and yield strength, as well as perfect electrical conductivity performance and corrosion resistance ability. This kind of alloy has good formability, rough forging ability, electrogilding ability and bending ability. The cost advantages make it successfully replace beryllium copper in the ares where high intensity and corrosion resistance are needed.
Hot and cold workability: C97 has good hot and cold workability, as well as good cutting and manufacturing performance.
Connection: welding through the method of heat treatment soldering and brazing in low temperature are mature technology. While the lead component will obstructive for welding, on the other hand, it can be easily soft-metal-soldering.
Application: Owing to its good comprehensive property, free-cutting performance, electrical conductivity ability and anti relaxation ability, C97 is normally used in the manufacturing of electric contacts, elastic elements and connectors. In general, it is mainly used in producing electronic connector components, elastic elements and special hardware tools.
